This should be a very good match up as All three are McDonald's All-Americans and it will give us a chance to see PJ vs an Elite PF who is 6'11 and a Elite SF which is what he will face when he matchs up with very good small forwards in college who have pro size (6'8)

I assume this isn't today at 3pm since you posted this at 4:21pm? Unless you are PST/MST then it would make more sense.

Man P.J has to raise his defensive basketball IQ. He picks up brain lock fouls with reaches he shouldn't attempt and blocking calls when there is no chance for a steal

I hope it's an anomaly, but this is the second time I've seen Washington (not counting the McD's game) and haven't been that impressed.

Washington looked good yesterday. Seems to have no legs today. Hard on 18 year olds playing 3 straight days plus the traveling.

Ya nice to see bizzy bone running the point for the Indiana team. This is another reason why crean got canned. You've got 3 all Americans on this team. There is no reason Indiana couldn't get one

Bowen and Jackson also just got back. I can't blame the legs because they played even more back to back during the summer. It has more to do with good defense. The zone isn't Allowing P.J to get open looks and their size is bother P.J once he gets into the lane. Struggling to finish over two 6'11 players. Also still struggles to guard on the wing, Bowen has blown past him twice at the stand still. He's still a very good player but he's a work in progress for sure

Bowen is starting to pick it up, said before the gym that he traviling and games the other day doesn't tire you out if you are preparing like you shouldand if you plan to be a elite player.

This La Lumiere team is very good

It's scary that the best player in this tournament so far has been a sophomore (R.J Barrett) and it's obvious

Washington is going to fun to watch progress for two years or more. not sure what the poster was talking about as far as saying he was a clear OAD but yesterday was probably the first day he has ever seen him.

Right now he can handle it on a fast break but struggles at times when pressured in the half court. Needs to work on his motor because he tends to stand around if he doesn't have the ball. Only major issue is his defense though, makes dumb decisions to pick up silly fouls while also laterial quickness needing work (losing weight as Cal suggested will help). Seen these same issues in the 13 games I've seen him play

His game has never been super scorer really. This year was his highest scoring average at 18ppg. Tends to be too unselfish at times looking to pass. Usually doesn't have he scoring mentality to dominate on offense and doesn't mind not doing that

why isn't Washington getting more shots ? He's missing free throws but he also has shown he can single handedly foul the defense out

PJ is the best forward in this class...post wise. He will prove it next season. Quote me on it.

I hope Bowen goes to MSU. A starting 5 of
Winston
Langford
Bowen
Jackson
Ward

Would be very good and fun to watch

It's a gift and curse. He's usually always even keeled one way or the other for the most part other than the occasional loud clap after a good play

What I don't like is how Washington isn't even acting upset at himself for single handedly losing this game for his team at the line.

His FT isn't bad, but it sure isn't as smooth as it could be.

We know what the kid needs to be working on immediately.

Don't be surprised to see a Willis/Wenyen substitution pattern with P.J and Vanderbilt next season at the Small forward position. P.J is the better shooter, rebounder but Vanderbilt is the better Ball handler/better motor and better defender

Missed both. This could be the worst overall exhibition of FT shooting I've ever seen.

Are these teams really 2 of the best teams in the country?
