KU board is already ugly.....

Well, they play what 7 guys at most? I don't think they're going to go deeper into the rotation against us.

We have a great shot at extending their losing streak. I am not impressed with their current performance.

I can only hope. I don't know the nuances of the game to comment but I hope these Cats bring energy AND control. If they can control the pace it will be a good game.

I don't think their board is nearly as nuclear as this one after a loss.

If we get our heads totally out of our butts, we can win this game, or Kansas plays like national champions and beats the crap out of us

college gameday, coming off a road loss, an embarassing loss to a blue blood last year?

what more motivation does KU need? They're going to play 3 feet off the ground the entire game.

I hope Cal has our guys ready for that place to be rocking, the Kansas players playing their ass off and hitting every circus shot they throw up

Otherwise, its going to be a long trip back to Lexington.

Kansas *needs* this win for multiple reasons

Keep the game close and I think Kansas will wilt. The home cooking will be dramatic because the crowd will be insane and the officials will feel that crowd. Just give them a really good game and learn from another tough road game win or lose.

btw, why are we playing at Allen Field House anyways? Kansas didn't play in Rupp last year.

I'm sure this has been answered on some other thread

If Kansas did not wilt against Oklahoma, I doubt they will wilt against us. I predict a slight Kansas victory of four to six points, but will be pulling for UK nonetheless.

And Spangler pretty much quit at the end of the game.

This is the big stage and this is why each one of them chose to come to Kentucky. This is where the hard work pays off and they get to put it on display against a highly rated team. If they play as a team they can win this game.

big12/sec challenge-- random opponent... some games are at home for sec , some are at home for b12.. this one happens to be at home for the b12

Maybe it will be different at home but that second half last night against Iowa State was horrible.

Curious about this as well. Are they coming to Rupp next season?

KU is not playing well right now. I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. Even at AFH. They have had some close games this year. I think we have a good shot at beating them there. We have the talent to beat KU. Texas had a 5 point lead at the half.

It's funny, I don't like KU fans but as far as knowledgeable fans go I'd have to say that they rank head and shoulders above UofL fans. They may be idiots when it comes to interactions with UK fans but they actually think their team and coach has things to work on and that they aren't perfect. Can't fault them for that.

You look back at last year's game and only ONE KU player shot better than 33% from the floor w/ that being Oubre who was just 2-3 from the floor. They were even missing their FTs where they shot 55.6% from the line.

For the game as a team they nearly shot 19.5%!!!!

Can you guarantee Poy and Lee will show up ? I worry about them more than anyone .
No, but if THEY are overwhelmed as many minutes as they've both played at UK, then we're screwed anyways.

I only worry about Willis because he's new to the role of starter and serious contributor.
