I have not heard much mention of him. Is he still with the team? Any info would be appreciated, thank you
Probably right. If Krok was healthy, he might be competitive for playing time at left tackle this year. Krok missed spring practice, which puts him behind and leaves the job in Jordan Swindle's hands. Swindle is a senior and a team leader. I have doubts about Swindle's feet, but the job is his now by default. After Swindle graduates, the left tackle job probably falls to Krok as long as he can hold off Landon Young. I figure Young will need a redshirt season in 2016, but he could blow up fast in 2017 because of the aggressive physical development process Stoops has introduced in the program.I talked to Krok at a game last year and he was in a rotator cuff sling and had just come off of shoulder surgery. He'll have his work cut out for him if he's going to see the field this year, imo.
Yes Getting high praise from Stoops and Elliott. I am very skeptical if he has a great career at KY because of his leg issues, but if it is all fixed and he does not continue to have trouble with it he has the ability to be a very good player for UK.Is Darius West healthy and practicing?
Leg issues. I thought West broke his leg. Right? Broken bones heal.Yes Getting high praise from Stoops and Elliott. Was a broken leg, but evidently was not repaired correctly the first time around and had to get it re-done and rehabbed again. Every body is different and who knows how well his has recovered and can handle the grind of a major college football schedule. I expect him to be ok, but anytime an athlete has gone through a tough injury situation there is always some doubt out there on how well they come back from it.Leg issues.
