Probably another fakeout ruse dreamt up by Capel. Like having Bolden follow Brad the day before he announced to Duke.
He committed on April 30.
Well, if he comes to the table wearing jockey underwear and a Polo shirt while drinking a mint julep…… he's UK bound baby. YEAH!
The ONLY way Knox commits to Kentucky is if Diallo has has backtracked on his entire plan since he committed and has decided to stay in this strong draft while holding on to the slim hope he gets drafted first round instead if more likely lottery next year.
Otherwise, I can't see any way Knox picks UK. If Bamba and Cam commit, that is 11 scholarships. The 12th is Diallo's unless this outrageous tragedy has actually become a reality.
No way Knox comes along with Diallo, Cam, and Bamba, despite us having 13 scholarships to fill, IMO.

The way that went down, he should have made his initial pick 29 days earlier.
He actually committed the day before the derby (The Kentucky oaks) and cal was going to the brown stable brown party when he called to tell him he'd made a mistake.
Cam will not commit if Knox comes. Did you not read the article earlier?

Which leads me to believe that Cal is still holding onto possibility of Knox coming since he discussed it with him. Bamba doesn't affect Cam at all.
Because every person who does this for a living and knows what they're talking about says he is. What makes you think we have a shot? Real answer, not some corny "never count Cal out" cliche.

I believe Coach Cal really wants Kevin Knox and has pulled out all his great recruiting tricks to bring him to Kentucky. If Coach Cal had at least a thought after the in-home visit with Knox and family that he was heading to Duke or UNC I believe he would have went harder for Cam Johnson. Cameron Johnson has been in the ACC two years and this past year showing at 6'8 and SG and SF that he was 40% shooter from 3 and in the UNC game he went for 9/12 and 6/9 from 3 for 24 points. I have watched him a few times in the ACC this year and Cam Johnson is an outstanding shooter and at 6'8 a good rebounder and with 2 years experience in the ACC and being successful I would have thought Coach Cal would have wanted an answer when he visited. I still believe that Coach Cal still believes on Saturday that Knox is committing to UK. I may be totally wrong and if I am then we go after the 1 recruit we really need next year and that is MO Bamba and then hopefully still get Cam Johnson and/or Diallo decides to return to UK and decides he knows in 2018 he will be a lottery pick or maybe a Top 5 pick in the NBA Draft.
Odds are you're correct. My point is that there are valid reasons to say it's possible. Even the Duke side is not 100% confident. They're confident but there's been no silent verbal or anything. Trust me, Duke staff likes to yack. If it's Duke it will clearly leak in a clear way by Saturday. If nothing leaks...then look out.
Well it is Duke and I'm not a fan of promoting their players or blowing up their announcements.
Honestly If Diallo stays in the draft and Knox chooses duke, I would be just fine getting Johnson and Bamba....Johnson has experience and could help the new guys whereas knox and diallo don't......
I think the key to Kentucky being one of those teams is getting diallo back. I just think he takes us to another level. IMO he will be back and we land mo bamba.

A person could argue that Diallo has more experience than Johnson. Yea, I know Diallo hasn't played a college game, but he has played against the best guard combo in college last year, and he has months of practice experience under Cal. Johnson has been in college for 2 years, but has spent 0 years at UK or with Cal.

Yes...proof! I've thought he was Dukes for 2 weeks now but it's based more on my pessimism & feel for this more than anything. He has not told Duke staff he's coming even if he does. Trust me...theres a chance
Well...thats your guess because you do not know. And there's zero premium info anywhere that says they know either. So...you're all on your own buddy. You don't know. If you do...then tell us how.
