Kirk signs with NC State

I think we were just a little late. He seems like a kid that sticks to his word and he just gave NC State his word that he was signing with them.

I bet there are going to be 100 people complaining about it and at least 95 of them said that we didn't want him here yesterday.

Best part of the KSR article (which received information from Catspause.com) is this nugget (not related to the OP but in same story)....

What does this mean for Kentucky? A source tells KSR that UK’s chances with five-star small forward Jaylen Brown are better than people think and it’s down to Michigan or UK. There’s still no timetable for his decision, but he would fill Kentucky’s biggest need right now.

On to the next recruit.
Rumor apparently is the coaches have found a hidden gem, Wilson something(?), scouting the international players. Hope they can sign him- he's starting to get numerous offers. Kid is a real baller!

Didn't they almost verbatim just say ...UK’s chances with five-star power forward Cheick Diallo are better than people think and it’s down to St. John's or UK.

No one's heard a peep out of the Brown camp for a while now other than mention of his family ties within Michigan.

Do you have better info?

I'm glad he did honestly. We didn't need another 11th or 12th man. All he would of done is ride the bench most likely. And take up a scolly that could go to a 5star next year.

That's my point. This isn't info. It's just some vague assertion. No illuminating detail about his decision.

Like saying, UK's chances at a title next year are better than what many people think. Based on the early odds it looks like it's down to UK and Duke.

No...they said UK & KU 50/50 either way & they were correct.

Brian Snow of scout.com said today that he's totally convinced it's UK or UM for Brown.

Well....since all the negative nancy's said when Cal offered that it means no shot at Brown....lets play the positive game & think Cal pulled the offer because Brown is coming

Well I'll agree with you about that. For some reason tons of people acted like KU was an afterthought on Diallo even though they have recruited the kid hard for a long time and even last spring there was talk of a heavy KU lean.

I'm not putting a lot of stock in what anyone says about Brown for the simple fact is his camp almost never talks, and certainly isn't tipping their hand minus eliminating a couple more schools off a still long list still being considered. Otherwise, I don't think UK being in his top 2 or 3 is somehow shocking as a blue blood they make the final cut almost always.

Seriously the kid is better off signing with NC St. He would have been recruited over. Although the way things are going at the moment,I don't know. :)
