Kick the Damn field Goal on 4th & 6

Oh, but it's worse than that. Because we try to throw a contested 25 or 30 yard pass when all we needed was 6.
TBF, there were two late developing routes on that play and pressure made him get rid of it. Definitely wasn't design to go to the RB. Go back and look at the window he'd have had to Barrion he had another second or two. And the kicker only has one career 50yd plus FG. So it's not that bad. Field goals aren't gonna win the game anyway.

Decision was probably the right one, unlike going for it early in the game. He let the idiot fans pressure him into that with the boos when he punted the first time.

On the play in question, the play call was poor. We had one crosser (covered) and two deep routes. Needed something intermediate to layer over the crosser in case they brought pressure, which they did.

zero issue with going for it there...would have been a 52 yard FG, a career long. My issue was with the play call, which was terrible.

I'm more upset that we didn't onside kick the last kick; that would have given UK a chance since we knew the defense probably wouldn't stop them.
