No ... I don't even recall anyone with that name, ever to play at UK. Nope, he didn't play here ... in fact, I'm pretty sure Calipari has never coached here.
I lost what little respect I had for Calipari when he let Sharpe come in here & pull that stunt that he pulled. Practice with the team & then refuse to play in game when he was needed. Not another coach in the history of college basketball would have put up with crap like that.
It was despicable on both sides. Screw Cow and Sharpe

Watching our players ball out and kill it in the NBA months after a disappointing season where some couldn’t start, most were in slumps, and many didn’t even appear ready to star in college let alone go pro - a Kentucky tradition!

If he was doing just fine in practice, and well enough that Carnival Cow was mooing for everyone to become see him practice, and he never played in the games, then by definition he refused to play.
It is well known that Cal butted heads with Sharpes handlers and it was them that prevented Sharpe from playing and ended up lying to Cal about their true intentions. No coach in America would have turned down Sharpe and the same situation would have happened wherever he went. People on the outside severely underestimate the power and persuasion of the handlers of these top tier players. This stuff happens at all schools and has gotten worse with NIL involved.
So we can assume that Cal is playing Edwards and AB because of Klutch?

Does anyone remember that one poster that showed up during the Sharpe season, only posted about Sharpe and then posted about Sharpe a few times right after the draft? The dude that insisted he was actually a UK fan and not some Sharpe plant? What the hell was that guys user name? I know I’m not the only one that remembers this guy.
As we have said multiple times, he was spineless, was afraid his draft stock would fall, so he played uk and CAL. NOT A CAT! Imagine that UK the team actually has Sharpe play. Lose to St. Peters? Make a run? Dont want to think about it.
He had some kind of robot name. Said he lived in Orlando area. Haven’t seen him in a while.
I think the simple answer is that he was going to play, feelings got hurt, and it morphed into deciding not to play at all.
Frankly, I pin this 95% on Cal for letting the inmates run the asylum. It’s the kind of stuff that makes you fall apart and lose in the first round as a 2 seed.
