Kentucky Wildcats announce spring football dates

We now know when the Kentucky Wildcats will begin spring football this year.

Per UK Athletics' Tony Neely, the Cats
will hit the field on March 7, one week from Saturday. Here are the
other dates they've announced:

Sat. March 7

Mon. March 9

Wed. March 11

(UK spring break March 14-22)

Wed. March 25

Fri. March 27

Mon. March 30

Wed. April 1

Fri. April 3

Mon. April 6

Wed. April 8

Fri. April 10

Sat. April 11

Mon. April 13

Wed. April 15

Notes:

· Practices on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays will be in the mornings

· Practice on Saturday, March 7, projected to end at noon

· Practices that will be open to the public will be confirmed at a later date

· There will be one other practice that will be announced at a later date.

Why are they taking a week off at Spring Break? Don't ever remember UK doing that. Always started right after spring break and ended about the 25 of April or so.

Pretty sure we have done it at least once during Stoops first 2 springs

Guess it really spreads out the 15 practices, and gives them more rest/recovery time in-between.
