Okay...I'll join the conspiracy theorist fun. Kentucky gets stuck with July 4th. One of the least watched days for tv on the calendar. Right behind Christmas Eve. Thanks ESPN...lol

SEC Network is turning its television schedule over to each of the 14 institutions in the Southeastern Conference in its first “SEC Network Takeover” initiative. Beginning Monday, June 29 (full schedule), each school will personally choose what airs on the television channel for 24 consecutive hours. Programming may include classic games, films, ESPN original content and some school-produced content.

Each school has selected a representative to aid in the task. Representatives are:

LOLOL. I do think it's funny that Kentucky got July 4th. Had I known about this "initiative"and been asked to guess which school would get stuck with the 4th, I would have guessed Kentucky or Vanderbilt.

I guess I'll just DVR anything that looks interesting.

GBB!!!

Sad..but it's the price we pay until we start winning some football games and get taken seriously around the league

Any word on what the lineup may consist of? I don't care what day it is, I'll be there for some classic UK games.

I don't know. I imagine more people will see our programming on a day off than Alabama Tuesday afternoon programming when everyone is at work.

Could be right Saguaro. I do know the 4th of July is one of days with the fewest eyes on TV sets all year. Of course, Xmas eve takes the prize.

I don't really care....I know how to use my DVR if there us something I want to watch.. Just messin' around for the most part. I'm basically under house arrest due to my health right now anyway...wont affect me regardless. lol

I've searched the web. Haven't seen anything listing what the actual games and programming content will be...as of yet. Maybe someone else has further insight.
