Kentucky opens as a 4-point favorite at Alabama

I was expecting a few more points than that, but all road games are going to be tough.

Late money was on LSU last game. Late money on UK this time imo. I expect a nice road win.

Marcus Lee and Alex Poythress are going to come out swinging. Normally I think these lines give UK too much credit (probably because they know UK fans will eat it up...dunno) but it seems to be the opposite with this one.

Like they said on ksr, hopefully no one will be there on Saturday cuz of the national championship game.

But bama's student section behind the basket is pretty intimidating.

wow I forgot about that - SEC scheduled that one poorly; they should know Bama would be in contention for football title; and Kentucky (no matter how we're playing right now) is Kentucky, usually a big draw for hoops. That arena may well end up being more UK fans than Bama fans

would be nice to put this LSU game behind us and spank Alabama real good, maybe 20 points. That might shut up some of the naysayers

Oh crap, Briscoe will be lucky to hit the backboard on free throw attempts

A win will be fine at this point, their roster doesn't look intimidating, but that doesn't mean anything and it's a road game, let's go Wildcats:cool2:

If we show up ready to compete and don't dig ourselves a hole right out of the gate we should be able to get this one. When you go from what we saw vs Ole Miss to what we saw vs LSU then each game you can put down as a crap shoot.

I think this is a big one for us, could set up a nice little chance for a 3 game win streak to get us to 14-3 and restore some confidence. It might tell us how bad these guys want to establish who they are or if they yet know who they are.

Been to the AL game several times. I think I've seen the ratio as high as 50%. Will be there again tomorrow. Go Cats!
be surprised if there are many Alabama fans, those not at the game will be at the sports bars somewhere they can watch the football game.
Here is the funny though - the team down the road plays Clemson tomorrow

Yikes, 4 points? That's a little unnerving

It's on the road...not hard to figure out. Plus, no betting line has ANY IMPACT on the game. So if you are un-nerved over something so irrelevant to the game itself...then you have a problem.

Has moved to 6. Takes a lot of money to move a line in Vegas 2 points in less than 24 hours.

You know the football game is Monday, right?

Hopefully Lee won't pick up 2 quick fouls and sit the whole first half again! We really missed his energy in the first half vs. LSU.

They generally fill that place to the brim. Could be the championship pulls some away, though. Looking forward to the game in any case.

I am just anxious to see how our guys come out and play after the debacle at LSU.

I'm giving myself a self high five on this one. Should have put some money down
Anyone who can make a decent call on this team on a game by game basis deserves a high five. The books have missed badly on them several times this year, yes I know the odds are set based on money flow and trying to get a 50/50 split, but you have to start by setting a line as close to how the game will play out as you can get.

If we need any more evidence that this is not what the 'experts' thought they would get with UK this season we can look at the line misses the books have had. As the season goes along the books get better, it will be interesting to see how we are treated later on this year.
