I'm damn proud of this team no matter what!!!
So we got bumped out of national seed? Thought I saw where nation seeds would not be announced until noon tomorrow.
They just announced the 16 teams hosting regionals
We don't know the other teams in the Lexington Regional until NOON tomorrow
At that time we will also find out if we are a top 8 seed (AKA National Seed)
All teams that are hosting were 1-15 in RPI, #17 Houston hosting over #16 Virginia
Clemson and FSU were both regional hosts over Virginia
SEC teams hosting regionals: Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas

Correct. They announce hosts a day early to allow those schools to have another day to prepare.
It's down to UK and Stanford for the last national seed. The resumes are almost identical. Stanford has a better overall record and is hot right now.

Yes, all the announcers, Ben McDonald, Todd Walker, Tom Hart, Gabe Gross, and especially Chris Burke were carrying the banner for UK to be a National seed. I think TCU is already in. Question is whether UK gets it or Stanford. Have to believe that it's Stanford. I just think they'll be "fair" and give two national seeds to each of the conferences.
I bet we get Virginia as our #2 seed in regional.

well, if we are no. 9, wouldn't we be matched up with no. 24 or so? Seems like UVA, if they were no. 17, would be matched up with no. 16, like the NCAA basketball?
Side note: I just bought my tickets and the only delivery method is "will call". WTF? This is the 21st century, are they going to expect all 4500 fans to pick up their tickets at the front gate of Cliff Hagan?
My football tickets were emailed last year, surely they will give you an option later in the week to choose email delivery.

You have the option of going to the ticket office this week and pick them up. On a side note, when UK played in Louisville in 2014, all the tickets were will call and it was an absolute disaster trying to pick them up.

Surely means if we get out of regional we will be in otis super...makes me sick , but I'm damn sure not scared of them!
Realistically, it's actually probably the best top 8 seed to go visit. They aren't playing extremely well, so now could be a good time to top them.
There can be no doubt, I can easily go get my tickets this week, but lots of out of towners cannot do it.
To be fair CB3 we are not playing well either. Hopefully we get some rest and gets the bats rejuiced!!
Remember...one game at a time. Who would you pitch? I'm much more concerned with the bats and defense.
