I’m willing to bet UK produces the most talented guards currently in the league. Seems like a lot of them transition very well, Cason Wallace had five threes in the first half today. IMO he could end up being the steal of the draft

I have a wobbly theory that Cal's personality puts added pressure on our players and then the rabid fan base and legacy of the jersey does too, so that it's almost like less pressure to play at the next level, and they relax into their game, even when playing to get paid.

College scholarship athletes have always played for pay. Even players just taking the scholarship played for pay.

I swear some of you never paid for a college education and it shows. For the record, I’m not demonizing anyone who didn’t get a college education. It just seems like a a lot of folks here don’t understand how hard it is to afford one and pay off the debt even if you get a good degree. A free ride has become so undervalued in today’s society I think athletic scholarships should just be revoked since so many people don’t see the value in them anymore.

Or maybe Calipari builds better habits for his players.
