Despite COVID-19 drastically affecting the recruiting landscape since early 2020, Kentucky’s coaching staff has made tremendous progress in this class, which has led to several highly-touted recruits already pledging to Wildcats.
Heading into the summer, Kentucky already has commitments from four-star offensive tackles Kiyaunta Goodwin and Grant Bingham, four-star twins Destin and Keaten Wade, and highly-touted Boyle County kicker Jackson Smith.
Kentucky may have hit a bit of a speedbump with the loss of recruiting ace Steve Clinkscale, who left in May to join the Michigan Wolverines. While Clink isn’t as important as recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow, it’s still a big loss that could affect how well Kentucky does in this recruiting class.
