It's an interesting take. Most of the numbers look to be similar to year's past. The only big difference between this squad and the former are the number/ percentages of three pointers made.
That's a slight worry for me, as Calipari's nine-man rotation pretty much ensures only two (or, at most, three) shooters on the floor at the same time. Briscoe and Mathews are going to drive the ball, and Hawkins is similar in style. Poythress is going to be the inside scorer. Lee is the garbage guy.
Really, only Willis, Ulis, and Murray are threats from outside.
That works-- if all three are shooting at a high clip.
It's a slog if they're not.
