This isn't good. Down 3 to 0 in the third. Mingione was kicked in the bottom of the 2nd. Cats have struck out 7 times in 9 at bats.

We are so bad. Kills me. On a sac bunt UK gives up a run. Gei pops out from behind the plate and throws the guy out at first but Ramsey doesn't cover home and Ole Miss scores.

Then UK gives up a home run.

Also... why is Gulliams the interim coach now? Seems weird that the volunteer assistant becomes coach when Ming gets kicked out.

The Ming experiment has been a total failure after his first year. He needs to be fired after this season but Mitch won’t do it. We are the worst team in the league and it isn’t even close.

Beginning to think you may be right and if you look at the roster next year might be worse. Thought NM was supposed to be a recruiting guru.

And just think, some was worried Miss St was going to come and steal him. lololol

I don’t want to feel this way but I’ve sorta checked out. I’ve been to two games, work actually plays a big part of that, and I don’t feel any excitement to go. It sucks. But even last night, I never checked the score once until right before I went to bed.

Yea, this sucks. Literally no hope of winning a road series against a good SEC team. Not much better at home, as we have only two wins all year against good teams (one against GA, and one against Mizzou....THAT'S IT). Also, we have teams that have consistently sat in the cellar that we "passed" (Georgia, UT) now having good years and in great shape for the postseason. Looks BLEAK

I have said it before. I wouldn't mind this being a year we take our lumps if we has a better season last year and if the future looked promising. The first one is done. So far, the future looks worse. No ZT. Ramsey is the worst defensive pitcher I've ever seen in my entire life and hasn't shown marked improvement on the mound. Marsh is now midweek and he hasn't really shown any dominance at any point. Hazelwood is a mystery of sorts. Then we have a roster of guys who are average.

Maybe hitting improves, but until we cut down on strikeouts it will continue to be a major frustration. Three years in a row we have had horrible strikeout numbers.

We are past the "look" stage...

Will lose Shinn, Shelby and ZT from this team and unless we are going to have top 3-5 recruiting class imagine what next season is going to be like...two years ago knowing the new stadium was going to be opening, I thought for sure we'd be hosting a super and contending for CWS this year. This is worse than anything Hendo ever put on the field.
