That after making a diving catch at the warning track to take away a would be double. Threw it in to Curtis who relayed it home and Kessler got the out.

Curtis walked. ARod bunts through the third strike. Why!?! Luckily, Curtis has moved up on a wild pitch. Still, could have been at third with one out if ARod executes on a good pitch to bunt.

We have had runners on 6 times and we've followed those up with strikeouts 5 of the 6 instances.

Pick off play to second sails into center and UK gets the lead without a hit. 3-2 runners at the corners in the top of the 8th. Pitcher is from Lexington. He's struggling to throw strikes.

Harper still on the mound for UK. He struggled a bit finding the strikezone in the bottom of the 7th.

Harper does a bit of work on his own as he takes a grounder up the middle and goes 1-3 for out one. Three up three down inning.

New pitcher for Lipscomb. Will face Curtis, Hill and Daniels in the 9th.

Line drive single past short. That was Gei hitting for Curtis actually. Hill with a double into the corner. Gei stopped at third but Hill didn't see the stop sign and gets hung up and thrown out between second and third.

UK gets nothing out of the two hits. Hill ran himself into an out and then I believe Daniel and ARod struck out.

Isn't that just representative of our season so far? I can't recall ever seeing so many base running errors as this team makes. Last year was close.

Honestly, I'm happy with the hit there. Hill will finish the night 2 for 4. He has hit it hard lately but just hasn't found holes. So, hopefully he starts finding the gaps and provides us with another hitter in the lineup.
