Thats BS!!!! I' m 68 and played bb/sb my entire life and that's all i ever heard because if you didn't get "beat" by the throw you were safe!!! That first base ump SUCKS !!! I think Lewis was safe as well.

This team is terrible. They are going to wind up with a losing record and will be lucky to win another game this year. Barnhart needs to sit down with Mingione and demand that he fires his whole staff. How many base running mistakes have we made this year. The pitching coach is a joke. If Mingione refuses to fire his staff then as much as I like him, Nick is going to be fired.
