Report: Dallas Cowboys CB Kelvin Joseph cleared in murder investigation

Joseph is expected to report Monday for the start of Cowboys training camp after cooperating with police in their investigation of a March drive-by shooting in East Dallas.

Stay out of trouble, dude. Still not really sure how it goes down when you're in the SUV that fired and killed a man, and you're cleared. Like, "dude, did you just shoot him?! Not cool! We should go back and apologize."

Prosecutors would have to demonstrate that he contributed to the crime or protected the shooter for him to be criminally liable. Just being there doesn't make him a criminal.

i get where you can’t prove that, but unless the shooter acted totally on his own and surprised everyone in the car, the others were likely aware of the intent. Again, can’t prove that and so he can’t be prosecuted, but common sense would say he knew exactly what was going to happen as condoned it.

Not really. A fight just broke out, they all get in the car. Emotions flying. They drive by the dudes, whoever the shooter was just starts shooting. I believe that more than I believe they all pow wowed and came up with a plan in the heat of the moment.

Wait so the businesses in the area didn’t do enough to prevent the murder and need to close, but the millionaire in the car doing the murdering is free to go??
