This guy has the size and playmaking ability that Stoops loves at CB. I know he looks like the perfect Nickel but we're really thin at CB so I bet he sticks there.

Smith looks like a safety, and that will be a help. But we still need one more Cback.

My best guess is he moves into Tisdale's spot but all three of those players will be on the field a lot.
I still think they are shopping for another corner, preferable one with some length that can play the bounder not to say Smith can't, it's just that the nickel spot is a better fit for him IMO.

I would think moving around would be the call. Williams will need spelled at nickel, Phillips and Valentine will need the same at corner. Dangerously thin in the backfield this year. Playing spread teams will test their endurance.

He played poorly at CB for several years. His best season was as a NB. Stoops seen enough ball to not play him at CB unless there are injuries etc
