I'm not sure if people are noticing but KAT is having one helluva season in the NBA.

16.1 ppg @ 53.6%, 43.5% from 3, 9.3 rpg, 1.0 apg, 2.1 bpg, .7 spg and 2 TOpg.

his PER is 23.17 which is good for #14 in the league.

His time is limited to 28 minutes per game. If he were to play 35 minutes per game, he would be putting top 10 fantasy value in his rookie season. :-D

He's more efficient than Okafor, a better defender, and is actually winning some games.

He's should get rookie of the year over both Okafor and Porzingis - both great players in their own right.

Both Okafor and Porzingis's PER is noticeably lower than KAT. Okafor is 15.63 and Porzingis is 17.94.

i think, KAT should win it going away. Unnecessary he crashes at the end. But we all know his work ethic is second to no one. He'll be star very quickly.

And Murray will be next. Cal has four NBA guys amongst the league's top 50 players (not counting Rose or Knight). I expect Murray and Towns to join that group within a few years. Towns could join that tier by next season.

Former Kentucky player AND a steal in my fantasy basketball draft.. Double win.

Not that Fantasy is any indicator of how good a player is, but Parker and Wiggins are really holding my team back..

The MVP is a two-horse race for now, between Kris P and KAT. Okafor is just a notch below them and I think his off-court issues, coupled with winning less than 10 games on the year, won't help him. Yes, I know MCW won ROY, but that year was pretty weak.

Plus he is one of the nicest kids ever at UK. Plus plus folks act like Cal doesn't coach these kids. Towns came in thinking he was a shooting guard. Cal and Payne developed him into what he is now

Karl-Anthony Towns: 3rd-youngest player in NBA history with 25 points and 15 rebounds in a game

Towns or AD? Im taking KT long term, more cerebral player more diverse O game, though they are pretty damn similar.

They are both so close AD/KAT.

Before the season i thought, definitely AD by a long ways away. After how KAT is starting, i'm not so sure anymore.

I didn't think KAT would come out so strong. What he's doing is really impressive.
