I'm listening now, there is no doubt in my mind he is a Cat!!!
He said South Carolina visit was just a "football visit" and SC's campus is very "spaced out" which he didn't like much.
He is raving about UK's new facilities and the Commonwealth improvements.
We are getting another top notch recruit!!!!!

After listening to that interview, id be completely shocked if he commits to anyone other than UK. I thought he was about to commit live the way he was talking! But as far as a speaker, this kid sounds like an experienced 40 year old. I've been super impressed with the kids coming out of this state the past few years.
No doubt, kid is very mature and likeable. Kash, Drake, and Landon are gonna help take UK to the next level.
Kash will be one of most loved UK football players ever.
I bet he has some swagger in him. I don't think he'll back down. Just the way he interviewed and talked, he just seems like he has it. I respect a young man who has a lot of confidence in their craft. I think he's UK all the way.
Great interview...Kash oozes Kentucky. I agree with everyone else, will be stunned if he isn't a Cat. Kid will be a superstar the second he steps on campus.
No doubt he will be a Wildcat. He spoke about touring the campus, raved about Commonwealth and the dorms. He said it's important to get to see everything because you may spend your next four years there. He went on to say that his SC visit was a "workout" and that they didn't get to tour the campus. He also noted that he could tell everything was spaced out. He is clearly a proud Eastern Kentuckian and wants to make the area proud. There's no doubt in my mind that he's all in. I would venture to say that he has given the staff a silent verbal and the reason he moved up his announcement date is to help UK recruit.
No doubt. He also said he believes he is best player on field and said he doesn't get nervous when playing sports. Kid is very polite and will be a coach's dream.
Definitely sounded like a commit. Man the future of uk football is bright. Love wearing kentucky football shirts around Chicago in big country!
Solidifies it even more in my mind..just need to make sure we have a good season (get to a bowl at the very least) and show some tangible results in terms of wins (and avoiding embarrassing losses) so we can keep these recruits when the Bama's and OSU's put on the full-court press more and more toward signing day

I agree with him about USC. The old parts are really cool and historic. The rest is garbage. And it is spread out over a far distance.

Man I don't understand the people who say this is up in the air, or that they have a bad feeling, folks like Freddie Maggard & Chris Fisher. Everything about his actions, his visits, the date he is picking, all of it spells UK.
What an impressive young man, I encourage all on the Lair to goggle up today's KSR podcast for the 2nd hour. Talked about how he has gone to these camps & tells himself he is simply the best player on the field. And has backed it up many times, mentioned how he picked off South Carolina's 4 star QB commit, how after a camp the 24/7 guys called him & said they were raising his ranking from 220+ to 97th best in the country. And how he at times has played for a HS team with as little as 15 players. Not just 15 for defense - 15 for the entire roster, playing both ways exclusively!
Kid has a winning leader personality that just burst out at you.

Also should get boost when they give Ross a rating, not counted now, he should be a 5.6 at least IMO. It would also help if they stopped being incompetent in rating Hoak, a 5.5 now rated a four star on ESPN. Not to mention a couple of other 5.5 Kentucky in state commits that have great raw talent IMO.

What others do you all think will get a rankings boost? Besides Gunnar is their a few more who are 4 star worthy? Are our OL commits worthy of being ranked even higher like Young?
Just foolish anyone who ever said he was going anywhere else but UK. Mountain kids are raised right and love UK football and basketball.
Harris wasn't from Paintsville, Harris isn't a mountain kid, and finally Harris never cared anything about UK.
one player that comes to mind is Jordan Griffin.. he jusnt dominated at the IMG 7on7
What about Griffin, Walder, Gilliam, Hoak, Rose all to 5.8
Landon Young to a 6.0
Bannerman to 5.7
Snell to 5.7
Robinson a 5.6
Is that being a little too optimistic or about inline with your all's comparisons.
Kash is about to commit so my son has to get KE. Daniel on his jersey lol!! He's a little bummed about that, taking one for the team!
Yea, IMO that is being too optimistic.. i can see Griffin and Hoak being elevated to 5.8 4* young to maybe a 5.9 but not a 6.0 4* i could see either RB going up .1 so rose to a 5.7 and snell to a 5.6 but not really past that. Gilliam's performance that garnered him the most attention was not a rivals event so i do not know how much it will factor in.. but considering it was not one of theirs i would not expect him to be a 4* maybe a 5.7.. not on your list is Looney and i would not be surprised if he got a small bump
but in the end it does not really matter.. i trust this staff.. no matter the rating if the staff wants someone.. so do i
The fact that other schools are now recognizing what our staff first realized is good enough for me.
The interview is impressive and encouraging in a number of ways not the least of which is how intelligently and articulately Kash projects. It bodes well for the leadership in this recruiting class that we likely will have Landon, Drake, and Kash from the home state plus many of the Ohio recruits working to hold this class together and to fill the few remaining spots with talented players at positions of need. GBB!
They told him he should be able to get KG when the time comes. The money symbol would be crushing though lol!
Having people with the last name of Daniel on the team seems to be a great problem to have...
