Justin Edwards 25/6/4 tonight....

Look at our boy. Always figured he'd be a better pro than college player given his skillset.

Maybe the Sixers tank and he gets significant minutes towards the end of the year.
It isn't about where he is as much as he is no longer wasting his time learning nothing from Cal.

I went to this game. Important to note that this was against OKC, arguably the best team in the NBA. Edwards was fantastic. He almost singlehandedly kept the Sixers in the game (they had 4 starters out and only had 8 guys available.) Had a couple of good defensive stops on SGA in addition to the scoring. Playing with a lot of confidence.

He may get a lot more playing time now since the rest of the Sixers bench is trash.

Great to hear. He has the goods. And showed some flashes last year.

You know... a year ago I would've disagreed. But i won't/can't now.
I used to think it was predominantly cuz of youth the players wouldn't reach their full potential in their one season with us. But now seeing players with 2 years under Cal at Arkansas and they're still struggling. That excuse is looking flimsier by the day.

Have to admit I’m rather shocked he’s actually filling a spot on a pro roster. I don’t keep up with the NBA at all. That kid was so lost last year, it’s amazing he found his way into the NBA.

Take a look at what Cal has done to one of the best portal players in about a third of the season. This kid is a shell of what he was before being screwed up by Cal.
