For the record, it was 74-62 with under a minute to play when I woke up at 4:22am. UK was leading Indiana in the national finals .I don't ever dream about Kentucky, so maybe, just maybe...

I know. That was my first thought once fully awake. Almost as unrealistic as all those Elisabeth Shue dreams I had as a kid.

Are you sure it was #9?

Was coach cal the coach. Maybe it was our 20th championship. I don't see IU anywhere near final in the near future.

Actually dreaming of UK basketball in early August. OK, your obviously a fanatical UK basketball fan! I already knew that though.

Can't say I've actually dreamed of that. Mine this morning have already slipped away as dreams do, but I think it was something benign in a work place environment. As for #9 I've been consciously dreaming of that since the Cat's won #8.

Semi off topic but is IU really going to be that bad this year? I thought I remember seeing they had a few decent returnees but I could be wrong. Obviously not final four good but just curious.

IU won't be too bad. Don't they have Ferrell and Blackmon back? That's a pretty good backcourt.

Of course, Crean is the coach.

I can see them in the Sweet Sixteen, maybe Elite Eight, but I think National Runner-up is a bit of a stretch.

But who knows? Sometimes mediocre teams get hot and go to the Final Four or even win it all, sometimes even teams with mediocre coaches.

They also have Troy Williams back. He's an intriguing player.

So they probably start Ferrell at the 1, Blackmon at the 2, and Williams at the 3. Bielfeldt(transfer) and Bryant inside at the 4 and 5. Or they could go small with Ferrell, Blackmon, Johnson, Williams, and Bryant.

Pretty solid lineup. Guards can take you far.

Indiana will be interesting to watch. Most of their effective players back from last year, plus Thomas Bryant, and minus Hanner Perea-Mosquera.

Can they become an effective defensive team and compensate for a still thin frontcourt? I think they have a shot at the Sweet 16.

You need about four more nights with good dreams. Because the one with UK beating Indiana was more likely the Round of 32, 1 versus 8 seed game.
