And there is not much separation between the 2 programs. It was not a fluke that the game was so close. That game could have gone either way and was pretty much decided on one or two plays. Frankly, if douglass dowsnt get the stupid penalty, or mcwilson catches that interception in his hands, I think we win. Whatever the case, I think our play in that game is indicitive of the improvements we will make next season...and as far as the rivalry goes, the cards will be replacing a lot more than us...simply put, I like our chances in the govs cup next year, and look for a 6-7 win season...much like 2006!

Parker was the difference in the game....UK had no one who could defend him. Other than him....UK was even in talent...

Worst thing that happened for UK was Bonnafon's injury. He was rattled and ineffective.
I really think UK rolls in that game if he remained QB

That said, game was a toss up until the end. UK certainly had their chances.

I think the Cards regress some this year and the Cats will be better. I expect another hard fought game w the Cats taking this one.

I agree. There isn't much if any separation in talent between Kentucky and Louisville. This was evident in the November game in Louisville. I expect Kentucky to beat Louisville next November here in Lexington. But there is still significant separation between Kentucky and the best SEC teams. We have a chance to beat Florida and Missouri in Lexington this year, but it will be several more years before we will be on a level playing field talentwise with Georgia and LSU. This takes time, but I like the start of our 2016 recruiting class, especially in Ohio.
