Ok BBN this season is almost upon us and we have not seen angry Stoops as of yet. Anyone remember in like his second year here he was consistently coming to after practice media and just blasting the effort and execution. As the years have gone by and our teams have improved you have seen that less and less. The constant was at least once he would have his. “Just not good enough day”. We are out of fall ball and his demeanor was confident and excited coming out of this last scrimmage. This could mean two things in my opinion. 1. He is changing his tactics either with age or by design. Calipari has seemed to act completely different this offseason. He’s even giving injury updates instead of “I Haven’t Seen Him”. Or 2. Mark Stoops is loaded with confidence and thinks he has his best team yet. I went to Fan Day and was a bit concerned with the Oline but CMS calm demeanor has me terribly excited. We Will know something soon when we hit noon for Ball St. I rewatched our 1st game last year with Miami Ohio and we struggled to a 10-10 halftime tie. We try to ingnore it but that tells you something. Let’s hope we simply blow Ball St right off the field. If that happens hold on for an exciting season.
