I know this is a nauseating thread type for some, and I get that. I’m studying for a really intensive mid-career exam and after tonight I gotta cut this outta my life. Its toxic, and its not serving me well anymore. I am referring to college basketball. I’m a diehard fan who, like many of you, have gone red in the face and horse in the voice more time than I can count in my nearly 40 years. It has been said by friends of mine I may die in front of a UK game from cardiac arrest. I’d like to prove them wrong someday.
My issue is that I just can’t sit and watch a product that is this poorly run, obvious with glaring issues not being tended to, and a coach that was my all-time favorite to now someone I wish WE could hide in game. He’s dumb and prideful. He’s not smart in game. He’s very primal. Bill Self and his dumb toupee out coached him every twist and turn. And the Kansas players had the confidence to hit shots because of him. Our guys missed. I also think there was an obvious 8 on 5 dynamic that helped pull our initial Momentum back to earth. Whether you agree or disagree, I can say with 100% fact, that I don’t want to consume college basketball anymore.
So anyways, I love many of you. I could do wo some of you- liberals are good people trying to help people, and the conservative venom on here has never been appreciated and always been disgusting. Some of you should travel or read a book or not watch Fox. Did you know that Fox isn’t referred to in court as Fox News because their factual rating is so low, they only qualify as entertainment? That’s true. Look up court documents.
This board is well run, and @JRowland and @Jeff Drummond @Travis Graf have really done such a wonderful job. Its not you, its me. This place has been my go to since 2006. It’s been a home away from home. Now, I need to better myself otherwise, and I know you all will keep the fire going. I’ll be around until they respond to my cancellation request.
