And sit back and enjoy the ride...both guys can really play but have never been given opportunity. ...we dontvwin Michigan game last year without Lee and Willis beat pros in Bahamas....just let them play thru mistakes....we are fine

I agree. They're both ready for bigger roles. I think people will be surprised- just like in '11 when Liggins and Harrellson stepped up when given the opportunity.

I'm fine with some combination of Poythress, Lee, and Willis at the 4 but we need a legit scoring wing in the worst way.

Lee better learn to shoot better than 33% from the free throw line or he's not getting much PT.

I'm confident with Lee because he stepped up on the big stage with Willie hurt. But he really needs to improve offensively and hit his free throws.

Willis is just a total unknown. Some have hyped him but we really have no clue what he will do in important games.

I agree, Lee is way to talented not to contribute, playing time is what he needs, he wants to be here and he hustles and has a good atittude, as for Willis, I guarantee you if he were on Wisconsins or any other team we played against, he would hurt us, he also moves good and is a great shooter, which is what we need, when a player has no confidence or no one has shown thet they have that in them, that can destroy a player, you can't tell me Willis can't help this team, just like Pelphrey and Feldhaus did on that team with Masburn being the only superstar we had along with with Sean Woods and the three Kentucky boys. One thing everybody already knows is that no kid will play harder than a Kentucky boy.

I'm fine with Calipari giving them minutes if they can prove to be assets that can help us win games. I don't want Calipari to give them minutes just to be giving them minutes.

I hope I'm wrong, but do not think Willis can hang at the elite level. Maybe some minutes to give another a break, but nothing overtly meaningful.

I think I might know two guys that would strongly disagree with the premise of this thread. Lee and Willis. I doubt they want to be "given" anything. If they earn minutes through skill, hard work and if they can help the team, then they will be given minutes as their coach sees fit. This isn't tee ball and both these guys wear big boy pants now.

They should and will get to make the contribution to the team that they EARN relative to the rest of the players on the team.

We let a lot of guys just play through their mistakes a couple of seasons ago.

There's no impact 4 or 5's left on the board, so we really don't have a choice. These two guys have got the talent, but they're going to have to put in the work and step up. No excuses for them not to do just that and see time on the floor next season.
