Just can’t play Edwards much when Thiero returns

It's getting closer and closer to that "line in the sand".. at some point, we can't wait for Edwards to get going.

A few weeks ago, I would have preferred Edwards just for potential.. but thats fading and fast. Especially when someone like Adou seems to be PERFECT for this game.

Any other coach in America, just about every, would never be starting Edwards in these games. And the thing is the Calspaining about his starters nonsense has always been bs. Any other coach would have the offense running through Reed Sheppard and yes he should start.

I don’t even agree with Calipari in that it’s what Edwards needs. He’s killing his draft position by over exposing him and it’s insane to me that nobody is talking about this.

I supported hell out of Calipari and wanted him here, but he gets an F in creativity as a coach. There are obvious fixes to this team and it’s as obvious as a birthmark on an albino’s chin.

Reed’s problems are we aren’t focusing on him enough and he stays cold, comes off the bench, and it’s hurting his game too.

I have said the same re Sheppard. The offense needs to run thru him. Doesn’t get enough shots.

This is all very true

He is a typical Freshmen. Not strong. Not all Freshmen are great instantly.
That is why putting stars beside a high school players name is utter stupidity.
Far too many buy into the 5 star hype B.S. before they play one second of college basketball.
Then because some so called expert says this guy is a 5 star. Fans turn on players call them busts and worse because some clown who never played the game gives the player 5 stars.

Thiero is injury prone. People thinking he's gonna be some consistent savior are gonna be in for a letdown.

He is a bust. But there will be many here who - once again - say he just needs more time.
Looking that way. College bust that will grow into his game at the next level. Would likely have a great 2nd year in college but we will never see it. He isn’t awful…just playing like a normal freshman and not a top 15 pick in the draft

If the dude was from Kentucky, we'd be happy as hell w/ the way he's playing, because we'd know he'd be around another 2/3 yrs and would grow into an outstanding player, ala Darius Miller. If he recognizes that one/done might not be his route, he'll make us an outstanding piece as a sophomore.
