Things in college basketball can change in a hurry, but things like Briscoe's shooting and Skal's play aren't likely to change over night. We are what we are, it will take more work than it appears we are willing to put in to change that.

Cal may have to make changes and we know he reluctant to do that. He does what he does and he believes in it. When this team gets down 8 to 12 they don't have the firepower or the defensive ability to get enough stops to come back.

It is not about showcasing talent with this team, it is about do they have enough grit to scratch and claw out wins in close games.
