You know who really gets screwed over in all of this? All of the people whose small businesses/shops depend on arena traffic. Really feel for these people, they don't have millions to sit on like Jurich.

On top of that because of selfishness by Pitino, Jurich, Mayor Fisher, and the old University president (forgot his name...awful hair), they've run off all potential NBA suitors for that awesome new arena. Absolutely the worst case scenario for the Yum center and now all of us are going to be stuck with the bill.

I don't know the legality of it all but it sure seems like those 4 should face criminal charges due to the fact that a bunch of people's livelihoods are now jeopardizes because of their actions, not to mention all of the taxpayers stuck with paying for the Yum center now ULs team is going to be in the toilet and any NBA teams were run off. It's probably not criminal but it should be. Once again the millionaires skate off into the sunset with a damaged rep and a bunch of money while the local business owners and taxpayers get royally effed.

For those who know more than me are there any repercussions to this legally? Right now those 4 look like the biggest POSs in the state.

Jurich was the lead crook in that crime syndicate. I've said for YEARS that he was dirty and surrounded himself with dirty doers. He did that because he knew he had leverage over them.
