Jordan anthony

Noticed Rivals has him listed as from UK, which he was a year ago. Still think he's better suited to run track IF he really has world class speed.

He might be the fastest player in college football. I don't know if he'll ever play WR in the P5 because he's so small but I'd like to see him lined up next to Barion Brown returning kicks for us.

Yeah..there has to be some investigative reporting that will break down the dark side of this portal nonsense…the amount of kids that throw away even a depth football future and education to hop around like this

I doubt he’s faster.

BB’s top speed on his KO return against U of L was 1/2 mph faster than the fastest recorded in the NFL this season.
Nah Jordan has elite track speed he’s definitely faster straight line. That’s about it tho

I know his coach left and stuff but he should have stayed at Kentucky.
Didn't he complain about being unable to train outside in Lexington for outdoor track season due to weather? Like I said, IF the guy truly has world class speed he needs to stick to track.

Yes, so it seems. Anthony transfered, at least in part, because he wanted to put a greater emphasis on his track career. Understandable. There certainly isn't anything wrong with UK's track program, but Anthony reportedly wanted to relocate farther south. I get it. The thing is, Anthony has the speed of an elite receiver, but he does not have the size of an SEC football player. Every time this comes up, someone manages to cite a former player like Craig Yeast or Dexter McCluster who succeeded in the SEC despite being tiny. But those were different times, and those guys were very unusual outliers. Anthony couldn't get on the field at UK. Then he couldn't get on the field at TX A&M. It takes more than speed. It takes hands, smarts, physical toughness, and mental discipline. If he still wants to play football, he will need to find a coach willing to use a scholarship.
