John has been awesome in DC, both on and off the court. I would be a huge fan of his even if I wasn't a UK alum.

Besides Coach Cal himself, I'm not sure any individual was more important than John Wall in terms of bringing Kentucky basketball back from The Drunk. That whole summer of recruiting was so much fun (most attention I've ever paid to recruiting) and his year in Lexington was so exciting.

Only edit I will say is Cal brought that class in QUICK. John wall commited during the middle of the night. Most fun I can remember on a message board during recruiting ever! Didn't wall commit in May to seal the class ?

May sounds about right, I remember I was back at home on break when he committed so it couldn't have been earlier than that. I was refreshing the page on here every minute just in case he committed, those were crazy times. I spent so much time lurking on this site (this is where I got my info even though I didn't post) during the Coach Calipari recruitment process, I'm not sure there will ever be anything like it again. I mean we all stared at a door for days.

It was hilarious watching Memphis news. Local reporter was staked out at airport. watched his whole
Family board private plane( knew it was going to Lexington) and still reported they didn't know what Cal would do.

No wonder crimes go unsolved in Memphis. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. It usually is a duck. They couldn't put 2+2 together

They could have read this board and realized Cal had met with UK in Chicago People on here blasted sources knowing meeting took place

The game he played when she passed you can see the pain in his face. He walked with family the night if a game. So proud of him and the man he has become. I don't care if he played two games here. He is a class act

I just remember opening up Yahoo and the top storyline was something about Cal locking up the number 1 player in the class. Then i showed a couple of my friends that mixtape and watched their jaws drop.
