I knew it! Cal says not to enjoy UL's misery and then he drops this. He's a sly one.

LOL what on earth are you talking about ? If we do ? He will be a senior next year where is he going ? europe? He will be a starter next year at the 3.

Derek , Gabe, & Bam.........
Fox, Monk...........scary, isn't it.

Matthews, Hawk, SKJones..
Hump..Wyn.........that's 10

How high is that ceiling?

Willis currently has a 73 TS% in conference play and just played a game where he exceeded 100 TS% lol.

Last year I posted that Derek would contribute this year, but not start. 2 years ago, I argued he could "fill it up", knock down shooter and got accosted, called a poser, troll, idiot, etc. Pretty cool being correct on 2/3 of my predictions about him. Much better than 99% of the posters here.

Same for me throatpoker. I was comparing him to a Prince (not Padgett), although not as good as Prince.

I assume he's probably talking about expanding his offensive game; doing more than just being a spot shooter, trying to take guys off the bounce, getting to the free throw line, learning a few post moves, etc...

Not to mention, defensively he's nowhere near his ceiling. He's been much better recently, but with his physical attributes he can be a very good defender.

Brian, after what that juvenile piece of work has pulled, for months, throwing it back in his face is being an instigator? You're normally MUCH better than that. But, I will admit I have no intention of stopping anytime soon.

You took that post wrong...this conversation across multiple threads has been quite entertaining. Bassfan has at least 3-4 individual feuds going on and he's not letting up either.

I'm just spectating..

Why is this a story? You could say that about anybody.

Based on what? He's looked good against a few terrible teams this year, otherwise he hasn't done much of anything with the time he's gotten. The fascination with this kid is strange.

What has Willis shown that makes anyone think he deserves more playing time? Cal is thinking about the postseason. He's not concerned about meaningless games in December.

Spanking troll ass 101

You're not going to change your style of play so a guy who is nothing but a role player can get more time. Right now he's a situational player, and based on what we've seen for three years now, that's all he should be.

He shows signs of becoming a good passer, I wouldn't call him excellent. He has two assists after having played around 90 minutes the last three games.

Not really that concerned about it. Nice to have an extra body but he's hardly proven to be someone that would be very difficult to replace.

Its not the same situation, at least not yet. Darius was a starter on two good teams before that season. Willis has played well for three games, on a team we're not even sure is that good yet.

He's playing because Lee and Poythress aren't getting it done. Starting over those two isn't necessarily much of an accomplishment.

Wish UK had redshirted him as a frosh. Would be nice to have him for a few more seasons going forward. This is also why I hope Tai doesn't have to play this season. If he did, he'd lose an entire season of eligibility. I'd rather he start up next year.
