John Calipari is The Master Salesman

The only problem with this statement is too many of the fans that don't like him compare him to a used car salesman. In reality he is a great communicator, public speaker, and has the ability to look at the bright side of about any situation. He is also an innovator that is always looking for an edge over the competition.
The funny thing about those that call Coach Calipari a used car salesman, are the one's that are just Jealous of him.
I've been saying for awhile now..."Cal isn't a salesman, he is a marketer." He's not selling anything, hes marketing a brand. It's gone above and beyond the typical game of "selling yourself" to recruits. Cal absolutely sells himself, but its so much more than that.
I agree with the line about how you feel like you've known him forever. I met him once at an event and within seconds you could feel his warmth and his pleasure at being there. It came across as if he was feeling like there's nowhere else on earth that I'd rather be right now than talking UK basketball with downthehatch and Ms. downthehatch.
Fantastic contribution BBUK. So I guess you're saying that you disagree that Cal is a master marketer? Please extrapolate, the board is dying to hear you weigh in on this after your brilliant thread from earlier. You clearly know much more about Coach Cal than the rest of us, so please BBUK, enlighten us with your wisdom. Do not hold back.
