"I woke up this morning thinking about our team now that the NBA deadline has passed. We support all of our players as they weigh their options and pursue their dreams and it’s my job to make sure these kids are making informed decisions. It may not be what you think or I think - but it’s informed. But that also makes it hard to move until you really know what your roster is going to be. We’ve prepared for all scenarios and now we can move forward.
There’s so much misinformation out there and most of it we can’t address publicly. Numbers being thrown around just aren’t accurate, who we are in contact with or who we are not in contact with, we don’t make it public.
We want players who want this culture, who care about winning, understand what it means to play at Kentucky - both how hard and how rewarding it is - and have the ultimate drive to win and succeed on the biggest stage, which helps everyone. We have a talented group right now which isn’t finished yet, but when it’s done we will have a talented team who will chase the ultimate goal together and make BBN proud."

Then Fredrick, Wheeler, Toppin, Ware, Collins, Livingston, and Reeves all try to leave the program for non-pro options or for G-league roster spots.

The staff continues to "identify kids who want to be here."

Already was posted twice but don’t hurt to have a 3rd. Whatever it takes to get John Calipari out of Lexington ASAP, I’m all for! 😂
I apologize ... I had not seen it here. I just saw it this morning on Facebook and thought I'd share it.
Thanks for the reply.

I understand that for various reasons there are times when things can't be addressed directly, but in my opinion you're almost always better off not responding at all if you can't be direct and specific. Cal talking vaugely and indirectly on facebook has a bad subtweet vibe.

It's a shame that since 2017 my preseason expectations have gone from excited to see our new group of Wildcats, to I just hope we can field a somewhat competitive squad. Cal has taken us from the gold standard to living on food stamps. My next excitement will come the day he realizes this and bows out.

In a sentence or two it is like he is saying he wants guys at UK that want to be here and not have a problem with him prioritizing his 5 stars. Thinks that is the best for all. Not the program, the other players or the fans. Wants all three of those things to sacrifice for the handful of 5 stars to get rich. Sick of it.
