Joel Embiid suffers setback

Been a Sixers fan all my adult life, and after the greats left the team in the 80s, it's been a cesspool of suck, with the occasional excursion into mediocrity. But it's also become injury central. They even got that douchebag Bynum a few years ago, paid him 17 mil, and he never played one game for them. Feel bad for Noel, or any Cat that goes there.

Because of injury the Lakers or Celtics will end up getting him cheaply. You watch.

I'm sure this is all part of the Sixers plan. Now they can lose even more next year to get another high draft choice. Guys, they're going to make the playoffs in 2021, just you watch.

Did he play last year? What were his stats if so? To me, he always looked like a bust just waiting to happen.

Don't believe he did.

He averaged a goose egg in every statistical category.

Colossal bust for the organization. The young man cant help the injuries, but all the warning signs were there. Then it was reported he was slacking in rehab, and was overweight. Combine that with his unusually strange twitter antics, and he was tailor made bust material. Yet they draft him anyway.

Even without the injuries hes bust material. Never dominant in college, despite being basically the age of a jr/sr. Good size and potential was there for good footwork, but nothing else.

I said before the draft, you don't draft big men with foot problems. While he had great potential, he wasn't great yet and had a bad foot. The 76's bought into the hype and ignored long standing reason. Big men with foot problems usually remain big men with foot problems. Huge bust.

Pau Gasol played pretty well after his foot surgery. Maybe he's just the exception.
