If I'm an nfl team, no way I give him ten million dollars to run my team. Kids got no impulse control. He really needs to stay in college, if they allow him. Because the next level is about being a professional. Right now, he is a Frankenstein monster made out of the worst parts of Ryan leaf and Johnny Football and Vince young.

Maybe he should come back. All he can do is improve his status. But, I don't know that FSU would let him.

Winston was not the problem overall last night...yeah he had that awful fumble, but the INT was not his fault. The game was also out of reach in reality by the time that fumble occurred.

Uh, no. JW had been pounding on Jimbo for about 5 minutes and the coach had just about had enough.
Mariota should go way before Winston Mariota is class all the way. Upstanding and humble kid. I hope he succeeds in the NFL and I doubt he will be, but I hope he's still on the board when the 49ers pick rolls around. Kaepernick isn't cutting it for me.
IMO Winston and FSU had a right to be upset. The officials had allowed the Oregon defensive backs to mug the FSU WRs the entire game. The FSU TE was held every play.
The sad thing is the Oregon team did not need all that help from the officials. I am not a big fan of Winston but he had a legitimate gripe. Oregon got the friendly whistle on both sides of the ball.

Why did Fisher seem like he was kind of afraid of Winston? Why would a coach allow a player to rip into them like that with such little respect?
Those who try to excuse that kid's behavior with talk about what a "competitor he is" are kidding themselves. He clearly has a real case of the "me" problem from start to finish. I'm calling Vince Young 2.0. Not stupid. Just a basket case.
Rose Bowl Officials told FSU players to go to locker room and not midfield to shake hands. It's been in the papers and Fisher addressed this even the Oregon Coach defended FSU and said they was told to not send everybody to shake hands just coaches and have their players remain on sidelines to get Rose Bowl gear. This was so bowl sponsors could get their air time and the trophy ceremony could be set up.
Fisher said go back and look and you'll see Rose Bowl officials herding his guys off the field. When Herbstreit and Fowler was told this by a reporter they admitted OK FSU was told to leave the field but they still took their shots.
Fisher has ripped ESPN for some of their slander reporting and last week the FSU players helped a kid in a wheelchair walk across the practice field. But Fisher said that ESPN wanted to report that FSU players drag and pull wheelchair bound youth on the ground.
