The date of commitment is today, January 27.

I thought he was headed North following an ex UK assistant.

1. So Caldwell goes from UK
2. Then he decommits and we all presume he was one of Clinksdale kids and was going to follow him to Michigan
3. TO then only end up with UL in the end

Maybe he's a diamond in the rough...or maybe he's overrated by rivals and he's not that big of a deal to lose in the end. I hope he's not a diamond in the rough as we need CB help really badly.

Yeah, was it that Clink liked him, but Collins was not as high? It appears Clink at UM thought they could do better. At one point, he was predicted to UT, but not with high assurance. Now, he ends up at UL. Hard to tell what happened here.

UL also just picked up a commitment from a top QB from California. Recruiting has picked up over there. They’re hosting a bunch of good recruits this weekend. I don’t get why anyone would want to play at UL.

Maybe they’ll decommit after the new tradition of beating them down to end the year.

I love this from the article:

"The city with a population of 784,065 and passionate fan base provide an environment rife with [nil] potential"

Hahah well that's true, unfortunately for UL that's a 50/50 split at best. They just told on themselves. The writer (and family) know nothing about the city or state. Wonder if the family will stick when they find out they were apparently lied to about the city support?

Dude. The kid went to UL. No Ill wishes. Just thinking that tells us all we need to know in the recruitment…

I'm perfectly fine with UL fielding a winning ACC team. Looks much better for us to beat down an 8-3 UL team to end the regular season.

Caldwell was a Clink commitment for Kentucky. When Clink left, Kentucky basically stopped its communication and let him decommit. Also, when Clink got to Michigan, he didn't recruit the kid. Strange recruitment, but it appears his options dried up until UofL came calling.

Keep Satt at 7's down as long as we can.
Either U of L pays the basketball coach his buyout, or spends a lot not too.

Hence less money to buyout Satterfield.

In case your interested. Discusses NIL and the new world of recruiting.
Wow. Clarkson is Satt’s best commitment since
the kid that flipped to FSU two years, ago!!

That’s some purdy-damn solid ‘cruitin going on in Jefferson County!!

Actually, yes.

Vegas did us a solid by favoring them.

Our beat down allowed us to edge both Arkansas and aTm for the Citrus Bowl.

Mack's buyout is $4.8M over three years.

Rumor is 2 4* recruits have committed today from the group in for the weekend, but nothing official has been released.
