Five-star post player Jarrett Allen has delayed his official visit to Kentucky by one week, according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.

Allen — a 6-foot-10 prospect from Austin, Texas — will instead visit Houston this weekend and then come to Lexington next weekend. Scout.com ranks him as the No. 16 overall prospect in the class of 2016.

Notre Dame and Kansas have already hosted Allen for official visits this month. He is also considering Texas, North Carolina, Indiana and Kansas State.

The class will be Fox, Monk, Gabriel, Wynyard, Killeya-Jones, plus 1 out of Giles, Allen, Adebayo.

It wil be one out Allen or Bolden . If I was betting today I would go with Allen . Bam and Giles are going to NC st and DUke respectively . We all know this and to try to fool ourselves is silly . Would be like Kansas fan thinking they have a shot with Monk or Fox when both will be Cats.

I agree.

I admit I'm no expert and I trust Cal 100% when it comes to recruiting, but I will admit this kid and Bolden might be the only 2 guys in history that while watching their YouTube clips I don't see what some of the best coaches in the game see by recruiting them. To not look great in a mixtape has to take talent to do. If Cal takes this kid's commitment I won't be too upset and will admit to being wrong if either of these kids turn out to be stars at Kentucky. We will see.

I will say I like what I see outta of Allen more then Bolden but both are top 3 centers in the class. Anyone would be crazy not to be excited to see them on their team.

TJ Walker thinks Allen doesn't end up here. I think UK will land another big or another guard to go with Fox and Monk.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Thon Maker. He might be a plan B but is athletic and is fun to watch! Just my take! THTB

Oh i'll be excited if they join our team as i always am when highly rated recruits join the team, but as we all know, sometimes being highly rated doesn't mean you're a sure thing to produce. I don't see what the fuss is about with either of these 2. Trust me when i say this, in situations like this, i love it when i'm wrong and they turn out to be complete studs. When it comes to Kentucky's success, i check my pride at the door and hope my predictions are wrong and we win titles. Maybe they just need more talented people putting their mixtapes together? Who knows?

Wouldn't worry at all if we missed on all four. We will find someone if Cal thinks we need someone. Not so sure we will. If Lee, Humphries, Wynyard, Gabriel, SKJ are all here, as they could be, we will be just fine inside.

We could strike out on all four. I hope not, but possible. Even Cal is human. if I could have my pick, I go like this:

Giles
Bam
Allen
Bolden

Give me one and I'm happy though.

Honestly I wouldn't be terribly disappointed if we struck out. From what I've seen of Humphries, he'd be more than capable as a starter in his sophomore year with SKJ giving him a few breather minutes.

Allen+Humphries+SKJ+Gabriel+Willis+Wynyard

That's a lot of potential for a bigman group. Would be some flat-out holy wars in practice.

Agreed, neither Bolden nor Allen would start next year.
