I feel bad for the kid. He watched Booker beat him to the punch and commit to UK, play in a Final Four, see his stock skyrocket and be drafted in the lottery. In the meantime, Blackmon got stuck in a mediocre program, saw his draft stock slip, returned to school and got hurt.
I don't care what he, or anyone else says, there isn't a person alive who wouldn't be playing the "what if" game.

and he's doing it at a worthless, has-been, irrelevant school. Hats off to him.Or...Blackmon had a minor meniscus cleanup and will be fine, absolutely loves it at IU, is beloved in his home state, was on the B1G all-freshman team, was a borderline first round draft pick after the year but received tons of feedback that his defense is lousy and his athleticism needs to improve, and will start on a pre-season top 15 team this year.
AND is about one-third of the way to getting his college degree, just like his proud (UK) college graduate dad, his medical doctor mom, and he have always wanted.
Well i bet their smart enough to send Vjay to UKOr...Blackmon had a minor meniscus cleanup and will be fine, absolutely loves it at IU, is beloved in his home state, was on the B1G all-freshman team, was a borderline first round draft pick after the year but received tons of feedback that his defense is lousy and his athleticism needs to improve, and will start on a pre-season top 15 team this year.

Indiana fans are the scum of the earth, the gum on the bottom of your shoes, the sludge on the toilet, the worst of the worst in college hoops.
Devin is also one-third of the way graduating. He has the ability to obtain his degree as well. If/When he does, he'll at the minimum have a 7 million dollar headstart on James.Or...Blackmon had a minor meniscus cleanup and will be fine, absolutely loves it at IU, is beloved in his home state, was on the B1G all-freshman team, was a borderline first round draft pick after the year but received tons of feedback that his defense is lousy and his athleticism needs to improve, and will start on a pre-season top 15 team this year.

No ligament damage. If that was going to happen this is a good time, since he's supposed to be back before practice.
You are right there. Some Indiana fans (not you, as I recall) tried to say Blackmon was the better 'get' last year. There was even a Kentucky fan or two heard to make that remark -- Cal should have waited on Blackmon. I'd watched them both in high school and found that amusing. Booker was clearly the better prospect for college and the NBA. And that case was swiftly closed.
But good luck to Blackmon. I definitely hope his knee is not a nagging thing. I actually endured that as a young guy, and after the first episode never felt the same again on the basketball court.
Hope the kid has a speedy recovery! Kid definitely made a bad choice in picking IU. He could have came to UK, we could have definitely used him! And theres no doubt in my mind had he picked UK, he'd be on an NBA team somewhere right now.I feel bad for the kid. Blackmon is listed at 6'3", which makes him a little over 6'1" w/o shoes. He can dunk it, but not with ease. How much bigger is Booker than Blackmon? I only watched IU once maybe twice, but it seemed that Blackmon was to small to play 2G in the NBA
