Seems like the gentleman that's shared the news and story must have good connections with the family. Hope no one is upset if he does indeed pick Oregon as this gentleman predicts. Certainly finish off this wild recruting year. Thank goodness we signed our guys in the fall. Wild spring.
Any true UK fan would be upset if he picked Oregon. We've took it in the rear this year as far as recruiting goes. I think we'll get Murray and things will be back to normal.
I hope he comes to UK. Most of all I am glad the wait is almost over. Tuesday night we will finally know our roster as I don't think there is still anyone that UK can still add on besides him.
I agree. Our team is top ten to top 15 without him which is still a caliber team. With him UK is top five to ten.
UK can add Wynyard. Don't know if it helps the team coming in mideseason and as young as he is, but it's a possibility.
What does the time have to do with anything? How is that a bad time for them? That's around the time that they all announce. He is on the east coast after all.
Top 10-15? Name the 9-14 teams that will be better.

Talent wise UK is top three. Also it wouldn't surprise me if UK went out, defeated Duke, and proved that they are a legit top five team. However that's just it. I want to see them play first and prove they are one of the elite teams on the court. Again though I think UK is a top ten team deep down but hey it's June so I just want to be casual with my expectations for now.
Not on ESPNU you don't. Brown announced at about 10:30 or 11 at night, but he did it on Twitter. I doubt one recruit has ever taken into account the time zone of the school he's picking when announcing.
If I had to guess, yes, but would not surprise me at all if we don't. I don't think the time of the announcement has anything to do with it though.
Didn't Kentucky land the #2 or 3 recruiting class?
And if I was giving odds on preseason #1, I'd give even odds to Duke, Kansas, Maryland, Kentucky, UNC just off the top of my head. No clear cut favorite this year.
I think everyone is guessing right now, so we'll see. I'm not going to get my hopes up though.

Especially when UK has two guys this year who are going to be lottery picks despite being role players on a loaded team.
There will be a ton of NBA scouts at virtually every UK game next year because of the presence of the presumed No. 1 draft pick in Labissiere. Can Oregon say the same?

'We've took it in the rear this year as far as recruiting goes' .... might be a bit over the top with that one.... Yes, we didn't land all the players we wanted (as we've gotten used to the past few years), but Skal, Briscoe, Matthews, Wynyard and add in Mulder... that's pretty strong.

You are awful quit today Dave..I have been waiting for a clue.. On where the truth can be found.
Dave has just been around a while and knows people. He's not a know-everything guru per se but he talks to former players and some coaches (I think). And the main thing is he doesn't talk out of his butt. If it's his opinion he's giving, he says that. He won't pass it off as fact or act like he knows more than you. So when he says "this is what I'm hearing" he's not just trying to show off or get attention.
