As I heard it, Jakob Dixon was offered a scholarship after his camp performance in June. Our coaches worked him out. In some ways, it is a nearly ideal tryout situation. This is a boom or bust. To put it another way, high upside, low floor. Long body that runs well. Since they got to know him in June, they have a pretty good idea how intelligent and coachable he is and how good his hands are. The coaches have been recruiting some interesting receiver prospects. If they think Dixon is worthy of a scholarship after seeing him up close in June, that says a lot. Same way they got his PRP teammate Elijah Reed last year.
