I've watched the replay over and over...

Meeks was out of bounds on the jump ball.

You think?.....Though, it wasn't like there was an official right on top of that play. That had to be a fan dressed up in a zebra outfit. Couldn't possibly be a referee. Right?

What's funny is a few minutes earlier when there was a jump ball on the other end of the court. They had no problem seeing the Gonzaga player barely touch the base line. Which he did, but how can they be so inconsistent with calls?

Yeah but they also gave the ball back to the zags on an incorrect tipped (not) ball. Officiating was fine last night. Problem was the zags decided not to put the ball in the basket. Jackson was non existent and the zags couldn't take as advantage.

Zags definitely blew it.

Few awful at the end and Goss played hero ball.

However, that was a terribly officiated game.

The 4th foul on both Zags bigs were beyond awful, and no excuse for the flagrant call.

I don't think Goss played hero ball. He was the one guy who started to put the ball in the basket for the Zags. He came up short on his jumper after the to and then was blocked by a solid play by Meeks. What really hurt the Zags was Collins being in foul trouble and then fouling out. He was a difference maker and was negated by the stripes.

How in the hell can you arrive at fine and consistently bad when judging an official's performance?

Of course I did. If officiating is bad both ways, it's fair on both sides. Can't complain. I thought this was the case last night.

Pathetic one sided calling against the 2 bigs of Gonzaga that were total horseshit and not calling Meeks out of bounds on the jumpball - crucial timing.

Goss was hurt and took every shot the last few minutes - he scored 8 in a row then managed to miss everything the last two minutes with bad shots or was blocked.

I'll give you timing but the zags had balls go towards the rims. They had their chances, I can't believe this game was decided by officiating.

Really?

All of the evidence is out there, I'm not going to debate it.

He missed two shots in the last two minutes. Goss is their guy that can get his shot off the bounce it was the right call just couldn't hit.

You can't debate it.

Both teams. 22 fouls a piece.

Two crucial calls

Meeks on the baseline. Advantage UNC
Tipped ball on three point play. Zags

4th foul on Collins - Total BS

4th foul on the grizzly bear a F1???

UNC coudnt win a game with out refs vs Ark, UK, Ducks or Zags

He could barely walk, he didnt even look at another player, the entire world knew he was taking the shots.

How about running something and getting him the ball?

1 on 5 didnt work.

I like the kid and his grit, but I expected more out of Few than those last few offensive series.

The second foul they called on a three pointer in the first half was crap. Didn't touch him. Seems like the first time I have seen them not show a replay on a fouled three.

In that picture Meeks doesnt even have possession. the ball is stuck between his legs. Just wow.

You're right, but the replay shows there should've been a foul call since the UNC defender hit the shooter's hand.

There were bad calls both ways no doubt. The worst call was the flagrant 1 on Karnowski. That was pathetic. The fact that they reviewed the play and STILL called a flagrant 1 is indefensible. There are many reasons one team wins a game and the other loses. The same can be said about this game. However, in my opinion, the primary reason Gonzaga lost is the simple fact that Karnowski couldn't throw it in the ocean from 2-3 feet. He missed 6 to 9 shots (without actually checking the box score) from point blank range. If he had shot just a decent percentage from the field, Gonzaga would be the current National Champions. He didn't.

All of BBN should call the NCAA and complain about the way this game was officiated. I'll bet if they get enough calls to Mr. Emmert he'll force Gonzaga and UNC to replay the game!

The worst part is they didn't even look at it. And the announcing team were too busy blowing each other to see it. Bring back Packer.
