Time to move on from Stoops. I'm not a stoops hater. I actually love the guy and what he's done for UK. But he has hit his ceiling. The game had evolved to much for him to win here anymore than he already has.

It’s possible he has peaked. He’s been here a long time after all. But it’s stupid to assume that has to be true and he deserves time to fix it.

I will reserve judgment on the relative stupidity of the OP until I have reviewed the other 10 posts he or she has generated, to date.
This looks like another down year as we'll probably finish 6-6 or maybe 7-5. About like last year. And over the last two years we've now lost to S Car, Vandy and Missouri. I will give Stoops credit. He has feasted on cupcakes, a down UL and a down SECE for years. But UL is going to be much improved under Brohm and the SEC will be a gauntlet moving forward after we add Oklahoma and Texas and eventually go to a 9 game schedule.
So realistically, moving forward I think a 6-6, 7-5 type year will be quite the accomplishment at UK.

Although your comment rings true in a general sense, I remember the days when “mediocrity” would have been a coveted plateau from cellar dweller.
I’m not satisfied with where we are today but why would you get rid of a coach that got us off the mat and no longer an automatic “W” on nearly every SEC team’s schedule?
This is a process and with all the new elements NIL and portals bring to the table…we could catch lightning in a bottle.

We are all unhappy but Stoops is way better than anything UK had since the late 40s and early 50s. Last I checked Truman ain't shocking Dewey and I Like Ike isn't a thing so OP needs to understand our history more.

8-4 looks awfully hard to do with the two home games against top 20 teams and the 3 easier opponents all being away games. I can see 7-5 though.
Nobody is accepting it. Everybody on here is just as pissed off as the next guy. We just don’t propose moronic statements such as this one. Just because things are getting tougher doesn’t mean you just let go of the guy. It means everybody involved in this program from the head coach all the way down to the fans have to work a bit more for what we want. That was a very good Missouri team. I watched them play LSU and they are right up there with the other teams in this conference. I also watched my team beat them up and down the field to start the game before imploding. We have a good team, they are just undisciplined and a bit too full of themselves. We need them to go back to being hungry and humble. I can’t stand any of the arrogance when we have nothing to be arrogant about. This team represents Kentucky, we are a blue collar, hard working humble people here in the Commonwealth. We don’t have any time or patience for anybody to step out on that field and behave like a jackass. We cannot and will not tolerate it. If it means some guys hit the portal then let them.

A week to prepare and we come out completely flat.
We never adjust or change our game plan to win, we just don't want to lose.
All of you that are accusing me of being drunk, high or whatever I hope you're happy being mediocre fans. With an occasional good record. We had enough problems getting with any coach now with Texas and Oklahoma haha
But Stoops is the best we can do
Don't forget when Stoops took over we had nothing. All facilities are updated and upgraded. We have no excuses we can win, recruit and have facilities.
