The season is two-thirds over, so it's time to quit making excuses for our bad play. Our bigs don't block out on a rebound. When the ball is shot, our bigs allow the opponent to get between them and the basket, consequently, they get the rebound. This is the coaches fault! Either their not teaching how to block out, or the player is not listening, and should be on the bench, and either of them is unacceptable.
When one of the big guys sets a screen around the foul line, he never rolls to the basket for the old "pick and roll." How often do you see a player flash to the basket from around the head of the circle for a pass? NEVER! How many back door cuts have you seen by this team? NONE I can recall.
The only thing we know to do is shoot the three, or drive against at least three players, hoping to get fouled.
There was absolutely NO way we should have lost the game tonight after having a 21 point lead. There is plenty of fault to go around, coaches and players.
I hope we improve, but if we don't, it will be a short run in the Tournaments.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!
