Confession is good for the soul! I watched Kentucky play ULL and South Carolina, and I begged for them to just put four quarters together. Well they did! I guess I should have been more specific.
I know! It is only one loss, but this one stings a little bit. Receivers dropping passes, a veteran quarterback who did not step into any throws (consequently they are two feet too high), a veteran offensive line getting manhandled on passing plays and getting no push on running plays (I am giving Big George a pass here because it was only his third game), a talented tight end lined up as a blocking back 95% of the time, and an offensive coordinator who has determined that sideline and deep balls are the only passes he will call (now I know why Neal Brown ran Towles so much, he obviously has trouble with accuracy in traffic in the middle of the field)
Well, I asked for consistency! I need to be more careful what I wish for.

We've had 60 years of that kind of consistency.

Pretty much spot on, on all points. I agree with everything you said here.

Thought I was the only one that noticed we never use the middle of the field.
