without Levis... this team has no teeth. It's not Coach Stoops, it's not any of the coaches that are integral to the success of this team... it's Levis.

No expert with college football. And i really dont know a thing about our backup. But I have to think if any team loses its star QB, a top10 draft talent.. then everything goes out the door.

This weirdly has some strong comparisons to our basketball team. You can't lose your best players (Noel, Ty, WCS, Levis) and expect to be the same team. Everything changed when a star player goes out.

Sucks. Seems UK is cursed with this shit.

Our defense has been tremendous all year. The conservative calls on 3rd and forever have been a bane of UK football for as long as I can remember. About the same as cushioning WR's 8 yards on 3rd and 5.

Our Defense really only gave up 17 points tonight which is below it's average. As has been for the entire year, the offense is horrendously underperforming based on talent.

We have to do more to keep guys like Brown from transferring.

Our offensive line is definitely broken. Inexcusably broken. This is on the coaches that recruit these positions.

Bama lost theirs. And they’re are managing a win atm. Against a better team. Defense was god blessed awful tonight.

That 2013 team sucked even with Noel.

I imagine Bama's backup is likely going to the NFL anyways, right? Isn't that how all their QBs seem to be? One in waiting?

Youre not wrong I guess. But when it comes to football where 3-4 teams pretty much stack the 22-starting positions with 4 and 5-star talent.. the backup doesn't matter.

That’s in the coach then. You have to have a serviceable back up. Coaches did Sheron NO favors tonight.

Well this is an entirely different topic.. but uh.. maybe Kentucky football isn't the type of football program that warrants a quality backup? It's not like we were ever going to have Mac Jones or Jalen Hurts waiting in the fold.

I'm not excusing the coaches at all. But I do think when you're a football program that was never supposed to be a top tier program, we shouldn't underestimate what a top10 QB draft pick means for us. Us losing Levis is going to hurt much more than Alabama or OSU losing their QB..

I get the sense that some here thought Kentucky Football was going to be this automatic 9-10 win team going forward..
