For all the flak those fanbases have thrown at UK over the years, they are evidently too sensitive and thin skinned to acknowledge even the slightest bit of wrongdoing at their own universities.

Another reason may be that those fan bases are not "used to" or "will not" eat their own. On here a supposed UK fan will trash UK in a heartbeat and call it fairness and balance. There are a lot on this site who know it's their civic duty to trash UK or it's players IF they need trashing. "If you don't have some thing nice to say then..." (This statement means nothing on this site.) That plays a part in OP's comments. jmuo

Not true. A few are talking in a more mature accepting manner.
Some have been saying for a while...just get it out..get it over with,
and get going again. The same as if you or I had committed a crime,
we would get a lawyer and try for the least penalty possible.
We wouldn't ask for justice, just mercy.

I don't wear a red shirt.......blue since the 50's...but this is not
a result of UL fans doing and they are suffering the stigma.
No need to harass the fans.....except those who have harassed
us (UK).
