I know, hard to build excitement, but from reading the incoming portal write ups, we have some very good, intelligent, portal pass blockers particularly, jury is out on run blocking. Lots of incoming portal wide receivers, have to see who steps up, pretty good returning TEs, hope Calzada and/or Boley can get the ball to them. We really could use a breakout season at RB from Wilcox or Patterson, and transfer Dowdell brings some power running.
Our defensive line and outside LB have some good incoming portal guys to add to veterans Hayes and Saunders, plus RS frosh with potential. Big questions at ILB and DB, that late spring portal may well be used by us at those spots.
