Stop. Please.Cal's leaving. Mark it down!
The NCAA would have made him ineligible here when he was ratted out for receiving money to move to Memphis.Screw Penny. We should have had Wiseman this year and he would have been eligible. Horrible what he did to that kid.
Ncaa ruled Wisemen ineligible and Memphis said we don’t care and played him anyway. Even going as far as to get a court order against the NCAA. The players at the schools you listed were never ruled ineligible. That’s the difference. How is this any different than other school playing ineligible players, Arizona, Kansas, LSU, Duke, Louisville all come to mind.
I just said he's leaving. Didn't say when or where.Douche bag. MARK IT DOWN
They have Wichita State and Houston remaining in the regular season. Very possibly they have 12 losses going into the NIT..... penny who?
I think this picture from the article sums up the Penny era.https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/4957315002

Wasn't he only ineligible because Penny was considered a "booster" for Memphis though? I got the impression he would have been eligible literally anywhere elseThe NCAA would have made him ineligible here when he was ratted out for receiving money to move to Memphis.
Yep. Penny was a Memphis booster, gave money to the Wiseman family and then got hired as coach and recruited the kid to Memphis. You just can’t do that. Any other school wouldn’t have had a booster give him anything.Wasn't he only ineligible because Penny was considered a "booster" for Memphis though? The facts are important here, because Memphis fans will run over here and tell everyone you are wrong.Ncaa ruled Wisemen ineligible and Memphis said we don’t care and played him anyway. Even going as far as to get a court order against the NCAA. The players at the schools you listed were never ruled ineligible. That’s the difference.
Screw Penny. We should have had Wiseman this year and he would have been eligible. Horrible what he did to that kid.
The way that pathetic, little fan base of theirs tried to rub it in our face when they got Wiseman. I hope they get the death penalty. And I hope that Penny is banned from college coaching for ever. All Penny did was ruin the college career of James Wiseman pretty much before it got started. And costed us a national championship. Please give Penny what he deserves and please let this be in our favor in regards to Cisse! Anybody heard anything on Cisse or Kepnag recently?
I know who I'm rooting for. They have Wichita State and Houston remaining in the regular season. Very possibly they have 12 losses going into the NIT..... penny who?
Penny gonna die from smoke inhalationPenny wanted all the smoke, but we didn't know he was going to burn the basketball program down to the ground.Monday fo early f
Memphis is jealous of how UofL does thingsMemphis= the dumbest institution of higher learning ever. Same thing I said when they played Rose who the ncaa also told them had eligibility concerns. Just like in 08 Memphis thought they were some super power that doesn't have to follow the same rules as the rest. They will deserve everything they get, again.
Sadly they let two better coaches go just to end up hiring a guy on a promise that fell through. Stupid people run things down there.
